Ghana Post Introduces NFT Stamp To Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II

The Ghana Post Company has introduced an NFT stamp to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the reign of Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the ruler of the Ashanti people.

The stamp was unveiled on May 5. It was developed as a non-fungible token (NFT) and bears the images of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The stamp is set to be used in 156 nations as part of the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization’s border efforts to merge tradition and technology.

Bice Osei Kuffour, the managing director at the state-owned postal company, has expressed that the NFT stamp is more than just a technological innovation.
