Lotte Data Communication Co., the IT service unit of South Korea’s Lotte Group, said Tuesday that it will provide visitors to Busan National Science Museum’s Future Mobility Special Exhibition with experiences featuring an autonomous shuttle and the non-fungible token (NFT) platform KottonSeed.

The autonomous shuttle operates at a Level 4 autonomous driving capability, equipped with various sensors like LiDAR and vision systems to perceive and navigate obstacles without a driver’s seat.

Utilizing vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication technologies, it is geared to enable autonomous driving coordination between vehicles and infrastructure through the C-ITS on future roads.

Since last month, the autonomous shuttle has been shuttling back and forth in the outdoor plaza of the museum, introducing passengers to autonomous driving, showcasing future mobility technology during the special exhibition.

Lotte Data Communication’s NFT platform, KottonSeed, is also part of the event.

Starting from Tuesday, KottonSeed will issue commemorative NFTs to visitors of the exhibition. They can apply for NFT issuance, and having the NFT enables them to confirm their attendance at the exhibition and qualify for commemorative gifts on a first-come, first-served basis.
