The Solana frenzy has once come in motion with the Google search volume for ‘Solana’ keyword increasing over 250% in the past two months.
Data from Google Trends shows that the search volume for Solana was nearly 20 at the starting of October which has continually increased throughout the past two months with the current score of 88. The search volume is measured in 0 to 100 value where 0 represents no interest and 100 represents the peak interest for the topic.
The recurring in search traffic for Solana has potentially followed by its price recovery which has surged from nearly $23 to $75 over the past two months, recording a gain of over 200% – according to data from Coinmarketcap.
The search traffic on Solana peaked on December 8, when BONK was in trend and it became one of the most popular memecoin among crypto community. BONK is deployed on Solana and it recently flipped Pepe while becoming the third largest memecoin.
It seems that BONK has single handedly attributed to the recent spikes in Solana (SOL) price.
