Bored Ape and BAPE Collabs for Metaverse Fashion

The Bored Ape Yacht Club is teaming up with another ape-themed fashion company, the legendary Japanese streetwear brand BAPE, also known as A Bathing Ape. Yuga Labs, the company that created Bored Ape, announced this collaboration to reimagine the limits of the metaverse and streetwear fashion.

BAYC is making its first foray into the physical world with a limited-edition line that will make its debut at the ApeFest festival in Hong Kong. Owners of BAYC will enjoy the benefit of being among the first to use this constrained physical range, further increasing the value of their investments.

Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, said, “We’ve worked with BAPE® to reimagine iconic designs from their deep archive, with one foot in their Ura-Harajuku roots and the other in the BAYC swamp.”

Since BAYC members and BAPE Heads have exclusive early access to the clothing and accessories in the limited edition collection, this first collaboration is all about the community.

On November 4, the collection makes its debut at ApeFest, where apes can buy it in-person or online with token-gated access, and then it becomes available online only to BAPETAVERSE members. The public can finally access the collection in December at BAPE STORE and BAPE.COM locations around the world.

This partnership promises to produce a collection that is not only fashionable but also a representation of how fashion and technology are changing because both brands are recognized for their dedication to quality, authenticity, and innovation.
